Flood Risk Consultant
Planning-ready Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies from £295 — and you deal directly with the consultant, from first enquiry to approval.
What a Flood Risk Consultant Does
A flood risk consultant assesses how flooding could affect a development site — from rivers, the sea, surface water, groundwater and drainage — and sets out the measures needed to make a proposal safe and acceptable in planning terms. The result is usually a Flood Risk Assessment or drainage strategy that satisfies the LPA, the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) and, where relevant, the Environment Agency.
As an independent consultant, Flood Risk Environmental works across the full range of planning situations — householder extensions, single dwellings, residential schemes, commercial and industrial development, and change of use — with every report written to be approved at first submission.
